TRANSPORTATION: If you would like to be picked up at the bus station or Amtrak station in Stockton, please let us know in advance if possible your expected arrival time. If no one is there to pick you up please phone the office.

STOCKTON - The city of Stockton still does not have any airline service. This forces people to go to either San Francisco or Sacramento. It is much easier to get to Stockton from Sacramento. Please refer to the Transportation sheet enclosed.

BY CAR FROM THE NORTH on INTERSTATE 5, exit at March Lane (East -- left turn). Go to Pacific Avenue. Turn right on Pacific Ave. Go to Knoles and turn right. (There is a signal light here and use the university tower as a landmark). Follow signs to the Folk Dance Camp Office.

FROM THE SOUTH on INTERSTATE 5, take March Lane exit (East - right turn.) Go to Pacific Avenue. Turn right on Pacific Ave. Go to Knoles and turn right. ('There is a signal light here and use the university tower as a landmark). Follow the signs to the Folk Dance Camp Office.

FROM THE NORTH on HIGHWAY 99, take the Hammer Lane exit (there is a sign for UOP and Delta College just before turnoff). Swing around to the right to Hammer Lane (signal light). Turn left on Hammer. Go approx. 1.5 miles to West Lane. Turn left on West Lane. Go approx. 1.5 miles to Bianchi, turn right (watch the tracks, it's a very rough crossing). Go about 2 miles to Pacific Ave., turn left. Go to Knoles, turn right. (There is a signal light here and use the university tower as a landmark.) Follow the signs to the Folk Dance Camp Office.

FROM THE SOUTH on HIGHWAY 99, take the crosstown Freeway 4, merge in with Interstate 5 (toward Sacramento). Exit next right, (sign will indicate UOP exit) on Pershing Avenue. Stay in the right hand lane. Go to Mendocino (the street sign is on the left side of Pershing) and turn right (it will be before the UOP stadium). Go to the stop sign and turn left (onto Kensington). Go to the next stop sign and turn right onto Alpine. Go to Pacific Avenue (signal light) turn left. Go to the next signal light and turn left on Knoles (use the university tower as a landmark). Follow the signs to the camp office.
